Let's offer words of warm encouragement to those Future Division members who are about to graduate and who are proceeding on to higher levels of education. This is one of the most important times of their lives. By carefully listening to what is in their hearts and on their minds, let’s try to give them as much hope and confidence as we can!
Translation of "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shimbun, based on President Ikeda's recent guidance with universal value and application
What increases the driving force of our future development is the active participation by fresh new capable people in our activities. Together with our newly joined members, let’s challenge ourselves to engage in dialogue with as many people as we can! When we do so, happiness and joy spreads.
It’s our silent, often unseen efforts that are building an unshakeable foundation. With patience and forbearance let’s advance ceaselessly like flowing water!
The Gosho says: "Strengthen your resolve more than ever."* Shed all traces of complacency and inertia! Our burning passion and determination is the engine that helps us to make giant strides forwards.
It’s getting to the time of wide fluctuations in the temperatures. Always try to take good care of yourself! Let’s walk the grand path of kosen-rufu with a youthful spirit and high life condition keeping good health as our top priority every single day!
It all starts with our mens and young mens division members bringing about a transformation in society and the community based on taking courageous action. The Gosho says: "To discard the shallow and seek the profound is the way of a person of courage.”* Let’s burn with a courageous spirit and advance based on the powerful bonds between the mens and young mens divisions!
Until we have achieved the goals we set out to achieve let’s steadfastly challenge them with dogged persistence! It’s in the midst of such constant daily efforts that remarkable growth takes place. Advancement equals victory!
Our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our ladies of kosen-rufu who are always spreading hope in the local community. Today yet again, may our women and young women of the SGI keep safety as their top priority as we conduct our activities, and advance cheerfully and harmoniously on good terms with each other!
Even though people might stumble and fall in life, as long as they can pick themselves up and carry on advancing, they are true victors. No matter what happens, always remain determined not to be defeated!
The hardships that we undergo for the sake of kosen rufu all turn into good fortune that adorns our lives. The Gosho says: “Where there is unseen virtue, there will be visible reward.” Whether someone recognises the efforts we are making or not, let’s joyfully advance along the path of our great vow!
