This is the very heart and spirit of Soka. Now is the time for us to make that great advance based on unity and empathy!

The Daishonin encourages us, "You must simply make up your mind." The strength needed to break any deadlock that we are facing now is drawn forth by chanting daimoku infused with the vow to achieve kosen-rufu. Let’s exceed what we achieved yesterday. Let’s advance one step today, and if not that… half a step!
"One is the mother of ten thousand." By wholeheartedly treasuring every person we have the chance to meet, ten thousand waves of hope are widely spread. A breakthrough to victory lies right before our own eyes.
The Daishonin states: “do not depend on others.” Let’s do our utmost to overcome any carelessness or dependency we might have which leads to us easily assuming that “someone else will probably do it.” With the spirit of standing alone, let’s resolutely strive to shoulder the full responsibility!
Today’s hardships that we may encounter in our activities are in and of themselves a happy and enjoyable Buddhist practice that creates for eternal good fortune and benefit. By making up our minds, "We will be victorious, no matter what!" let’s advance with the heart of a lion king.
One single earnestly devoted person can help spread a great wave of expansion and develop strong bonds of unity with everyone. Let’s all take the initiative in taking such action! Let's never slacken in our repudiation of evil!
