Let's try to accomplish today's mission without putting it off to another day! Once we make the determination to do something, let's chant daimoku and take action, by being true to ourselves. Then we will be able to use the best of our strengths and abilities.
Translation of "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shimbun, based on President Ikeda's recent guidance, with universal value and application
Let's tell others, proudly and confidently, how great practising this Buddhism is. Nothing speaks with more convincing eloquence than conviction based on personal experience. Come, let’s engage in courageous dialogue with others!
Let’s not forget to take the utmost of care in heavy snow or on icy roads in regards to slipping and falling over. In particular all of our SGI publication deliverers! Please be sure to make your safety the top priority!
Many of our Byakuren Group members are now cheerfully engaging themselves in dialogue with others and sharing this hope-filled phylosophy for the sake of their friends' happiness. Let's all help the expansion and development of the solidarity of our Kayo sisters by chanting daimoku for their victories and giving them all the support and encouragement we can give!
Taking actions out of force of habit is in itself stagnation and eventually leads to setbacks. Let’s be careful not to become overconfident or careless and always try to take on new challenges. Let’s all advance with fresh youthful vitality!
Many trainee members of the Soka-han and Gajo-kai groups are taking the initiative in introducing this Buddhism to others. I hope that all of you, who carry out such a profound role and mission, will make great self development through challenging yourselves. May you all establish an indestructible prime foundation point in life!
We would like to express our utmost respect and appreciation to all of our pioneer members and senior citizens in the SGI. In this severe cold weather, please take good care of your health, first and foremost, and live a triumphant life boldly and proudly!
The lives of those who selflessly dedicate themselves to achieving kosen-rufu, especially in difficult situations, will be adorned with boundless benefit and good fortune. For the sake of the Law and for the sake of our friends, let’s advance boldly and courageously!
Faith means to summon up the courage to never ever give in, no matter what. We can absolutely overcome any kind of hardship or challenge based on the Buddhist principle, “changing poison into medicine." Let’s all courageously advance along the path of fulfilling our vital and unique roles in life!
Let's be very careful when heavy snowfall or blizzards are expected. When they happen, let's make sure that we take every possible precaution to stay safe on icy roads and pay close attention to any kind of traffic disruptions. I am earnestly chanting that all of our members, especially our publication deliverers, stay absolutely accident free.
