Our discussion meetings are plazas for creating friendships. The Daishonin teaches, "The best way to attain Buddhahood is to encounter a good friend."* From our very own district, block, or group, let’s expand our circle of fellow Bodhisattvas of the Earth!

Beginning with those who have recently become members, let’s direct our very warmest support and encouragement towards our fresh new dedicated capable members of kosen-rufu! Always basing ourselves on the three basics of faith, practice and study, together, let’s advance along the greatest path to victory and success!
The more we dedicate ourselves to helping our friend’s to develop and grow, the more “treasures of the heart" we boundlessly accumulate and adorn our lives with. For the sake of the happiness of both ourselves and others, let’s strengthen our solidarity of encouragement!
Dedicating one’s life to the great vow of helping all people to become genuinely happy, that is what “the Soka Gakkai Founding Spirit" is all about. With the resolution to advance now more than ever before, let’s continue to be victorious and so cultivate and develop the path of kosen-rufu!
This is the Buddhism of the lotus flower that blooms with unsullied purity in the muddy pond. Our present day world is like a swamp or chaotic morass but this is where we can create the causes for magnificent blooms of victory to blossom. It’s right where we are that we take on the noble challenge as Bodhisattvas of the Earth!
In the SGI organisation, each and every one of us has a leading role to play. Let’s clarify what the responsibilities of those in supporting positions are clearly and together forge ahead based on the principle of "many in body, one in mind"! Our solid unity centred on our faith is the very fuel that powers the movement for the advancement of world-wide kosen-rufu!
To all of our friends striving hard at work while at the same time doing their best for kosen-rufu, be victorious no matter what challenges you face! With courage, hard work and perseverance you definitely can break through that seemingly insurmountable wall before you!
Today is Japan Press Holiday. We will be back tomorrow.
Kosen-rufu is achieved right where we stand. Let’s always take great care of our local community and make every effort to develop good healthy relations and friendships with our neighbours. By showing our sincere and caring behaviour as human beings, let’s cheerfully strive to help as many people as we can to form a positive connection with Buddhism.
Our very own homes are the main arena for raising the successors of kosen-rufu. By doing gongyo, chanting daimoku and attending SGI meetings together, let’s pass on the conviction we have in this faith and practice to the next generation!
