The Daishonin teaches us, “You should understand that when one practises the Lotus Sutra under such circumstances, difficulties will arise, and these are to be looked on as ‘peaceful’ practices."
When we face hardships or difficulties, that is actually the greatest opportunity for us to grow and develop. By chanting daimoku with courage and vigour, let’s unfold a boundless rich life state within our lives!

Beware of the common cold and influenza viruses. Be sure to always take preventative measures by gargling and washing your hands regularly, using masks and humidifiers, etc. to prevent from catching and spreading (such illnesses.) Take good care of your health, first and foremost, and advance in the very best of good cheer!
As a “leader," let’s take the initiative in visiting our fellow members! By having sincere and candid conversations, we can deepen our heart to heart bonds, and help others to develop. True wisdom and strength lies among people who are in the very heart of our activities!
"No prayer will go unanswered and no good fortune will be unbestowed." Through having a strong powerful faith and practice, let’s bring forth the boundless power of the Buddha and the Law! Let’s help our friends, one after another, to join our solidarity of happiness!
The Daishonin encourages us to "Diligently polish your mirror day and night." Each and every day is a challenge of win or lose. By persistently trying to chant daimoku, let’s continue to develop those “treasures of the heart” in our lives!
Bodhisattvas of the Earth with their indomitable spirit, continue to the very end to help others while challenging to overcome their own personal sufferings. Their noble lives that they live out by fulfilling their vow are adorned with the brilliant light of happiness!
Let’s help to raise our new and “younger” members so that they become even more capable than we are! It’s from a “leaders’” full on earnest efforts to encourage others that our joyful solidarity spreads.
There are various different paths on the journey of life. Instead of comparing ourselves with others and worrying about what they are doing, let’s take one step forwards on our own. In our own unique way, at our own unique pace let’s carry out our important missions in life!
The Daishonin encourages, “Ordinary people keep in mind the words ‘earnest resolve' and thereby become Buddhas.” By chanting daimoku with earnest resolve and taking decisive action, let’s play out a great drama of our human revolution with good cheer and in high spirits, writing a new chronicle of our life!
Studying the Daishonin’s teachings is a signpost which leads us on the path to happiness. Whenever we encounter deadlock, let’s earnestly reach out for the Daishonin’s writings! Our diligent endeavour in the two ways of practice and study is vital in starting the drama of changing our karma into our mission.
