Today and Tomorrow are Japan Press Holiday. We will be back on January 1st.
On your way back home for the holidays or when going on a trip somewhere, please make safety your top priority, never drive under unreasonable circumstances! Let’s not forget that overconfidence and carelessness inevitably invites the negative forces to take advantage. Basing ourselves on sincere and firm daimoku each day I hope that we can all lead a meaningful and enriched daily existence! Thank you all so much for all of your great efforts to make this the year of dynamic development! Unseen virtues of your noble dedication definitely bring about immeasurable visible reward. Next year also, with diamond-like unity, let’s strive together to be victorious! It’s the sharing of our Buddhist practice across successive generations that develops a solid foundation for eternal happiness. Let’s try to spend some quality time with our families having lots of good warm chats, and make this holiday period truly meaningful and valuable! As the year draws to an end, let’s check around us and tidy things up and put things in order. Feeling refreshed, let’s welcome in the brand New Year! Our uncrowned heroes and heroines, the deliverers of our SGI publications who traverse the silver roads in the early hours of the morning delivering our publications in the bitter cold and wind. Our deepest appreciation and gratitude goes out to you for all your noble efforts! Please be sure to remain absolutely safe! We are chanting for your good health and happiness. The realisation of a harmonious family is an eternal guideline of the SGI. Let’s treasure our family members who are the closest to us! Let’s be to sure to let them know just how much we really do appreciate them through our smiles and words! The holiday season is a great opportunity to expand our friendships! Let's open up our hearts to all those we are connected with and have many warm conversations with them! It is certain that those who are devoting themselves for the sake of kosen-rufu behind the scenes will shine brilliantly and be adorned with the great benefits of the Mystic Law. To all of our fellow members who are so selflessly dedicating themselves to protecting and supporting the SGI, let's be sure to express our deepest appreciation from the bottom of our hearts! Seasonal or holiday greetings are something that can warmly connect people's hearts. The Daishonin teaches, “The seeds of Buddhahood sprout as a result of conditions."* Cheerfully and with a bright smile, let's strive to expand our movement by developing good friendships with as many people as we can and help them to form a connection to this Buddhism! |
