Today is Japan Press Holiday. We will be back tomorrow.
What an amazing year this has been, with the triumphant songs of SGI’s victories reverberating far and wide. We are filled with heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the selfless, noble and dedicated efforts made by all of our precious fellow members! Next year too, let’s continue to challenge doing our human revolution and build a brilliant history of achievement! When driving long distances (particularly when going back to your hometown, etc.), be sure to take frequent breaks. That one little bit of carelessness can lead to an accident. Especially if you are driving in snowy conditions and/or at night exercise even greater caution and be mindful of your surroundings! Beware of blizzards or unexpected storms (cold waves, etc.) For the sake of all our noble uncrowned heroes and heroines, who are delivering the Seikyo newspaper and all our other SGI publications throughout these tough conditions, we are sincerely chanting for your absolute safety and accident free deliveries. Never rush, try to allow yourself ample time and above all put your safety first and foremost when delivering. Taking pride in being Bodhisattvas of the Earth, let’s do our utmost for others' happiness. A fulfilling life lies in the diamond like firm conviction where we spare no pains for the purpose of performing our unique missions. The Daishonin teaches us, “Myō means to revive, that is, to return to life." The sound of people chanting daimoku has the power to revive everything. With the spirit as if we had been reborn, let’s make an enthusiastic vigorous start towards the new year! Let’s put safety as our top priority, especially during this hectic holiday season. Let's chant daimoku with unyielding determination not to let the chance of an accident or incident come anywhere near us. Let’s spend each and every day meaningfully creating value! Let’s try to spend some quality time with our child(ren). Let’s try do gongyo and chant daimoku together as well as share our dreams and memories as a family. This winter recess is a great opportunity to make our family ties stronger and to pass on why we began to practice to the next generation of the family. Each of our noble members of the SGI who protect our community centres, the treasure castles of the community, thank you all so much for your sincere efforts in this past year! Unlimited good fortune shines brilliantly upon your devoted and wholehearted actions! |
